Anybody have any pics of a GT500 hood on stock GT? Just looking at a flat out hood swap and just wanted to know how it looks. Sorta concerned on how the cowl matches up to base GT lines on the front.

 

won't fit. You have to put on an entire GT500 front end

 

it'll look off. Lines wont match.

I'm not sure what this mess is. It is either a GT California Special with a GT 500 hood or a GT 500 with a California Special front end. Either way, I don't like it. The lines just don't match up. This Mustang was at SEMA and is from Scott Drake I believe.

 

That pic will answer the op's question. I cant believe that Scott Drake would make such a mess with that car. CS nose & GT500 hood dont match up at all.

agreed Joe, looks all wrong, plus from what I understand, the GT500 hood will hit the pillars on the GT, GT/CS, V6, etc's front end...that's why the pillars are tilted on a GT500 front end
