GT500 front end bra now available
I've been waiting for these for a long time. Colgan Bras now has a bra cover for those with GT500's or those of us with the GT500 conversion. I just ordered one and will post pics and opinions as soon as it comes in. For those who did the GT500 bumper and kept your stock hood, I think you can order just the bumper cover, then order just the hood cover for your stock hood. I'm not a fan of bra covers, but for a short trip to a car show or a road trip with highway driving, they can be a life saver. Just don't leave it on too long!!!!!

And NEVER put one on young paint. You'll ruin your day in a hurry! Give paint a minimum of 90 days before sticking a bra on it. OH, and make sure you fit it nice and tight so it can't flutter. You'd be amazed how much damage a fluttering bra can do to your paint.

http://www.colgancustom.com/ this pic is directly off their site. Mine is on back order until the end of this month. I just want it for very short trips to save my paint from bugs and rocks. A good coat or two of Zaino on the car really helps before putting the cover on it.

Holy crap don't order direct.........I just checked on autoanything and it's 139.99 w/ free shipping. I cancelled my order with Colgan and re-ordered w/ autoanything. They gave me an additional 10% off so it was $125.99.

Make that 1985!
I think he's referring to that time when they were a fad and EVERYONE stuck one on their car, no matter how crappy the car was. Often the bra was an improvement and covered up their crappy car. I especially liked the ones that were left on the car until they removed themselves leaving all kinds of nasty paint damage behind. They certainly do work well for short hauls. I may actually grab one for my road trips. Just make sure you don't leave it on and make sure it's on tight.
