GT Grille

What exactly is the difference between the stock V6 -GT grilles? I want to use the GT style grille because I like the center Pony with the fog lights.

they're different size. you need to go aftermarket... though there might be not grilles for v6 with pony and fogs...

Hate to be a pain but I'm still not convinced that it won't work. Sometimes I need to be beaten over the head before I give up. Does anyone know where the dimensions are bigger? If it's a small difference it could possibly be made to work..

It is a different grill for V6 and V8. Yes it is black and honeycomb, but trust us when we say it's a different part.

Yup, you need the GT's front facia, believe me a lot of GT guys would be happy if you could just put the V6 grille on a GT.

I believe you, but just 'cause it's slightly different doesn't mean it's impossible...

Knock yourself out, and be sure to take pictures along the way if it's possible.

I tried this the day I got my GT, the V6 grille will not work with a GT bumper, GT grille will adopt to a V6 bumper. I wanted the pony package grille the day I ordered my GT.

I still do, and I was thinking of swapping my gt frontend for a v6 bumper when I got some time and money. I saw an awsome grille overlay for the pony package somewhere. I feeel the fog lights are too big on the GT, but I do like the extra light they provide at night.

I've been taking some measurements at the local dealer and they seem to be pretty close in size. There is a small lip on top of the V6 bumper that the GT doesn't have. That appears to be the only visible difference. I have a used grille coming so I guess I will find out soon enough..

Pls let me know. The grille and fog lights will be waaay cheaper than having to do a new bumper and paint!
