gt 500 rear mud guards

has anyone used these gt 500 mud guards on the back of a regular gt? it looks like they will work w/ a little modification..i like them because they are very narrow..doesn't stick out like reg flaps..

I have had them on mine for a while. Did it to deflect little ***** of rubber that mysteriously show up on the rear fenders

Disagree

I bought those last year...they do need to be redrilled and cut...if you look at the photo...you will see some rectangular holes exposed...they drove me crazy....redrilled and cut excess on inside...not very wide but look ok now....imho.....

Mine are on backwards.....

For a reason. I did not like the way that they fit with the stock rear end, so I put the left side flap, on the right side... and the same for the other side. I think it looks 100 % better...... And I did paint em to match. I was just test fitting em in the pict's

Come to Colorado and get your rear fenders sand blasted,it only take 15 minutes of that right after they gravel the street right after nice snow storm.

i just added those this weekend. After buying 19x10 rear wheels, and 275/40/19 tires, the wet crap is all down the rear end. I have a new gt 500 rear bumper , but im going with the saleen Heritage front and rear instead.
