I could have sworn I read a thread on this already, but I can't seem to find it. If anyone remembers please let me know. I was just wondering if the 07 GT 500 front fascia, grill, lights, and hood would fit on an 05/06 GT. And if it would fit, would you be considered a "poser?" I think I would consider doing this if it isn't considered a complete "no-no" by the Mustang enthusiasts. I wouldn't put cobra badging on it or put shelby letters on it at all...........would this be accepted??????

As far as the rest, you're going to get opinions all over the place regarding whether it's "ok"

Personally, as long as it's not badged as a Shelby, I don't see it as much different than installing any other appearence package. In the end it's your car. Do what is going to put a smile on your face.

 

I would agree, as long as the badges and Shelby lettering stays off, you should be OK. However don't forget you'll need new Headlights as well. It's been a while since I looked at the pictures, but are the fenders the same shape as the 05/06's ?
