I'm thinking of doing this to my bumper what do you guys think? Bottom image top 1/2 GT 500 and the bottom 1/2 Cali Special.

I have to agree with Clark, my preference is the stock GT500 facia too, but thats not to say the CS doesn't look good, it does. That being said, I'd be interested to know HOW you would do that mod though.
GT500 All the way!!! I not saying I hate your idea, I don't feel that it has a clean look to it. It's lines don't flow well. The GT500 is more angular where the CS is more square. If that is what you truly want Go for it!!!! Your Stang should be what you want it to be!
I have taken 2 bumpers a GT500 and a CT/CS and am having them cut to make 1 new bumper. I have a local plastic company that can weld the plastic 1/2's of the bumper together.
I don't have anything in the bumpers so all I'm out is the labor to do the welding then my time finishing the piece out. Sometimes I have too much time on my hands :lol

+1....I agree that is two different style aspects being forced into one. I know that is what your trying to do, but I have to agree with the above post that angular aspects of the GT500 do not flow well with the edgier more square aspects of the CS. Than again your car your taste. enjoy
Well Rob if you have any other spare GT/CS bumpers laying around let me know I might just take one off your hands.
The angled lines of the headlights go much better with the angled lines of the GT500 lower half.
It looks too odd with the GTCS lower portion IMHO.
But, if you are looking for something different, this is what I would do (and have been planning on doing (in part) when I can get around to affording the GT500 front end):

It certainly would be a lot easier than trying to meld the GT500 and GTCS bumpers.
P.S. If you happen to have any more spare GT500 bumpers laying around, I would be more than happy to take them off your hands
