PerformanceCenter.com reports having all types of aluminum grille inserts for the '05.

Example:

Compare 05 Mustang GT Main Grille Insert Black Chrome
Note: Fits GT Models Only

Leave a review! Retail Price: $186.99
Your Low Price: $115.99

Has anyone actually seen one of these. There are no pictures just a generic grille pic.

By the way, this place is stocking up on '05 Mustang stuff.

No, I haven't seen this. I wouldn't buy that without even seeing a picture of it. Did u try emailing the site telling them your interested in their product but you cant make a decision without seeing an actual picture of it 1st?

What the heck is "black chrome" if its black its not chrome. Chrome shines! Do these guys have any real chrome inserts of horizontal bars?? That would give the illusion of width to the front. That is what I am looking for as well as some vents aka louvres for the small back side windows.

Stanger T,
that's what I thought it would look like. It's a pretty cool finish. I'll try and get pics from the company that makes them.

Yea the pony doesn't come with it so I'm assuming you'll have to somehow remove the original and attach it to the new grille

It looks kind of cheap though, doesn't it? Maybe the chrome or satin finish looks better. It looks too "thin" I guess you could say.

And it doubles as a BBQ pit! Looks cheap imo.

That's just nasty! Looks like you wrecked into my gutter and got the leaf guard stuck on the front of your car.
