I would have said install a Shaker Hood but since you have the GT Appearance Package that will not work. How about the Silverhorse Honeycomb Tail Panel and the Moss Motors Taillight Bezels? They look awesome on a black car.

Intake, tune and mufflers

then some gears

eventually full exhaust

suspension

supercharger

and then you'll be broke

oh wait, exterior, some deep dish rims. Or if you want to some painted side view mirror inserts

That's big drop in price 'cause mama doesn't like the noise'... I'd be carefull - maybe with a lot of pics I'd risk it. (If you buy used make sure you buy get new clamps - never re-use clamps)

There is a lot of good info on mufflers around here, some posts even have links to sound bytes.
Good luck. I think a good set of mufflers just completes the car. A good looking car needs to sound good as well - IMO

I HIGHLY second that! Just remember this part #, 11750, the Borla Stingers part #. Borlas are the best (IMO, that is)!

Hey yeah, that tail panel looks cool! Very tasteful addition, and in keeping with the car's heritage. I noticed a couple of Road Runners on your garage wall (can't help it, I'm a big Mopar enthusiast). Any chance you'll acquire the new Challenger in a couple of years?

A word about the GT appearance package hood scoop; I ordered my GT with that because I think the hood need something and I'm already tired of seeing stripes on GTs. However, the hood (ornament) scoop is only going to be there until I retrofit my GT with the cold air induction and shaker scoop down the road (when I can afford it!). In the meanwhile, I will use it to denote the engine displacement and configuration. I plan to affix simple "4.6L V8" decals.
So, it will perform at least some purpose!

CAI/Tuner/Gears/Mufflers/Eibach springs and you will be very happy. Just make sure that if you buy a CAI/tuner that you buy from someone very knowledgable about our cars!! There are two highly recommended tuners on this site Brenspeed.com (Brent) and Bamachips.com (Doug).
