nice observation...I think it looks good both ways. I personally wanted to get as close to the factory offset as possible.

Sweet, yeah they go really good with the red stripes on the outside too. Do they move around at all or are they a good fit. Do you have any pics of the front (and back if you have them)?

I am so glad you posted some pics of the 40mm offset. They look perfect. I ordered a set of 20x9 40mm offset and was a little worried if they would look right. After seeing yours I think the 40mm look so much better than the 24mm.

I hope to have some pics up of the 40mm 20's this Saturday. I was hoping to get them installed today but I'm still waiting on UPS to get here with the tires.

Isn't that frustrating? I had my rims and then they finally showed up with the tires about 5:30 on a Friday so I had no chance of getting them mounted for the weekend, and then the driver says to me "I bet you were waiting for these, huh?"

Yep it is. They just showed up so looks like it will be Saturday morning before they are on the car. I sure hope they fit with the Eibach springs because those tires look huge like there will be no fender gap at all.

I am curious if anyone who put the 20's on and then obviously put some 265/30/R20's on for tires felt that the change was enough to warrent getting the spedo recalibrated?

Im wondering how much off it might put it and if getting it redone would be a smart move.

Thanks

Bryan

Get the 265/35/20 tires. They are only .3 inches taller than stock and will cause the speedo to be off by approx. 2 mph. You can always calibrate the speedo later if you get a CAI and tuner.

Actually, that is why I ask. I do infact already have a CAI and a tune provided by Bamachips.

I could easily live with the 2mph difference, but if it IS something that can be addressed with the tune, I was thinking it might be a good idea. Is this the only affect the tires/wheels will have? Would it actually be a good idea to contact Doug and see if there are any other "adjustments" needed slinging these 20" rims around.

Thanks for any info/help.

Bryan

You can change the speedo cal with the handheld tuners user adjustments. As for the other settings, I don't know. It might be a good idea to ask Doug.
