Got a CS6 Hood?
I'm looking for someone that already has one of the new CS6 hoods. I'm curious about the quality, as well as some additional problems that I'd like to clear up before I order my own.
i was skeptical like you at first, then i just went ahead and placed the order.
considering the CS6 is made by Shelby, i feel that is enough quality assurance..
the only problem is that they've been busy with the GT-H line up that it's now been 1.5 months and my order parts aren't even ready yet :S
if you like the CS6 hood, i suggest you go ahead and place the order now to avoid the long wait, and the likely increase in prices since Shelby no longer sell the CS6 kits directly, and the new resellers (Hillbank motorsport) have hiked up the prices by 20% higher than what i've already paid ShopShelby

I'm worried about the gas springs for the hood lift kits though. I have some installed already on my car, and I'm not sure how thick the CS6 hood is. If it's too thin I'm afraid the lifts would pop right through the hood when I tried to close it.
