I'm thinking of getting goodyear eagle F1 GS-D3 tires for the upcoming 18" bullits. I did some research on different tire sites and they score pretty good in all areas. Any opinions or experiences will be appreciated.

I was thinkin about these too. They look like good alternatives for drag radials. I see them on cobras all the time.

We must have had the same idea at the same time. I'm having mine mounted & balanced tomorrow.

I have the same tire in 275/45/18 front & rear. Tire noise is no worse than the stock tires. Ride quality didn't change. Handling increases are significant - You can push very hard into the corners and take lines that you wouldn't consider with the stock tires. Getting on the gas when coming out of the corners is equally impressive. The 275's give me a great deal of contact patch vs the 235's - which account for a good amount of the tire performance gain - however - after 1000 miles - I am very happy! You will not be sorry!

I'd like to know how they compare to Nitto's 555 extreme or BF's KDW based on handling and wear. I'm looking for more a tire for handling as opposed to the strip.

Was there any fit problems in the front? Rubbing, scraping, etc?

What offset are your rims?

I have 255/45-18's all around and would love to go 275/45-18 all around, but the fit up front has me worried.

Hey Wardog - my wheels have a offset of 32 - no issues with the wheels rubbing at all - this is the same set up Roush is offering. I have also lowered the car (Steeda springs) and still everything is working great!

I just ordered these and 18" AFS Mach 1 wheels. We'll see how they do shortly...

We have had them on the Bullitt for about 8,000 miles now and I can tell you that we are VERY impressed. They seem to be wearing very well and they are absolutly awesome in the rain. I can't wait to replace the stock tires on my 05 with them.

Excellent tires to say the least! Hurry now, you get a 75$ gas card until the 10th with a set of them.

If your in Chicago area I can try to give you the best price possible. It is hard to compete with tire rack, but you have to add the shipping, and pay someone to install and balance, new stems, and tire disposal charges.
I would only charge TMS members for some for balancing, and most likely do it for you myself after hours, so you know your getting the best care. Just bring some beers!
Ill look into what they would cost tomorrow. I forgot since the last time I looked.
