Good news is my dealer tells me the car should be delivered some time next week. Bad news is it looks like he didn't get the spoiler delete entered on the order. The bill of laiding (sp?) makes no mention of the "spoiler delete" option. I can only guess it will come with a spoiler since it is standard.

He said the dealer would pay to have the spoiler removed and the holes filled. I'm bummed but maybe this is an excuse to get the ducktail. He tried to sell me a Roush spoiler but I don't like the notch-back. Which duck-tail has room for the 3rd brake light?

 

I have the Street Scenes ducktail. It has the hole for the brake light.

 

If your dealer has another car in stock your color or coming in without the spoiler I would have them trade out the trunk lids.

 

I just talked to my dealer today, I have had my car since October, but its been in storage since November....they are going to swap out the decklid for one without the spoiler for me no charge. Good Dealer.

Want even worse spoiler delete news? I ordered my stang with spoiler delete and IUP...after waiting for monnths (this was when they first started hitting the streets for 05MY), when my car had finally come in it didn't have IUP. I was PISSED, because I'd been waiting fooreevver for this car, thinking it was going to come in with all my ordered options. Went to go pick it up the day it came in, no IUP. My boner salesman said that since I got spoiler delete, IUP was deleted from the order. He said "spoiler delete and IUP are not compatible, you can only have one or the other." I was extremely pissed, but, still signed the dotted line..

 

Erik, your dealer fed you a line of BS. And you let him get away with it. I would have told the guy "Get it right or I'm taking my business elsewhere."

Nope never pulled over. Had the covers on since the first day I installed. During the day I usually drive around with the parking lights/driving lights on anyways and they are completely visible so no problems there......


And if Dave means my front covers when he says Wayfarers then YES I DO!

 

You're dealer is amost as cool as mine. I got mine with IUP and Spoiler Delete, so your dealer was full of shiat. But I took it in today to have the first oil change and get a new gas tank put in it and they decided that they were going to wreck it instead.

No problem, addicents happen... at least nobody got hurt. Right??? They'll make it right, stuff like this happens..... Wrong.... They told me, now get this... That it was my problem and they weren't responsible because I had remote start on a Standard vehicle. And that's not smart. :scratch: Well needless to say there was a lot of shouting and :bang: taking it all the way up to the GM of the company who was the only one that saw it my way and has agreed to take care of it...
