going to order rims/tires next week but have a question
I always run the same rim size in my cars so I can rotate my tires. I also don't run directional tread for the same reason. So, if you choose tires with direction tread then get whatever rim best fits your tire size selection.
9s up front and as fat as you can in the back!
I think it really depends on how economical you wish to be. For looks I'd go 18x8 in the front with the larger in back. If you want to go longer without having to buy new tires, then do 18x9.5 with non directional tires.
I went for looks with 20x9 on front and 20x10 on back all with directional tires.

Some tires have 'directional' tread on them so that swapping/rotating them from one side of the vehicle to the other would face them the wrong way. Some high performance and most winter tires are like this.
Personally, I'd go with the 9.5 all the way around. However, you probably don't want to run anything bigger than 275s up front. For the back you can go to 295s on a 9.5" rim. To have consistant sidewall on those staggered tire sizes go with 275/40,45 front (tire= .33" shorter, .75" taller than stock 756, 727rot/mi) and 295/40 rear (tire= .25" taller than stock 739rot/mi)
If you can find 265/45s for the front your tire heights f/r will be within 0.1"

ok so i think im going to go 9.5 all around. should i do 275/40/18 all around as well, or should i choose the only other tire size that the website says fits for the front (245/45/18). the tires im looking at are the BF Goodrich
BFG G-FORCE KDW T/A

For 9.5 all around even 255s are gettin kinda narrow (10" tread). I have 255/45s on my 9" rims and they barely cover the lip.

For 9.5, yes, I'd go 275. The only thing with 275 is that the 40s are about 1/2" shorter than stock and the 45s are about 3/4" taller. Personally, I like the 275/45s because they fill the huge wheel wells better.
