You guys are killing me with pics of those 255's .

So I had to go and order some - $100/each and only $34.56 shipping = $434.56. They ship from Delaware and I'm next door in Maryland.

I don't put alot of miles on my GT - 2700 since Jan. 2nd - but just looking at those spindly 235 Pirellis is depressing. Now, to find a decent shop to mount them without destroying my Bullitts!

Adam,

Go to your local Firestone store. They put mine on for $10/wheel. They are also the distributor for Fuzion.

Thanks Dan, I'll give them a look. Any chance they would have matched the Tire Rack price? I probably should have checked, but I'm just an impulsive SOB!

And yes, it is Dan's fault!

That's OK fellas, I'll take the blame!!! You're going to like the "new look" on your cars though.

These tires look FANTASTIC on the car! Thanks for the pics. I don't even have my car delivered yet, and I've basically decided I'm ready to upgrade to these tires. However, a quick visit to the company's website indicates that the ones you have are Summer tires. As I live in New England, would these perhaps make for an impractical purchase on my part? Or should I be prepared to shell out dollars for two sets of tires? Or perhaps use the stock tires as my 'winter' tires? Thanks in advance for any input.

If you live up north and have to worry about snow, get the BFG 255's, not the Fuzions. These are definitely Summer tires. Not good at all in the snow. You might as well take the tires off all together and ride on bare rims.

I love these tires too. I had them on my future mod list for a month or so, but replaced them with the Bridgestone Potenza's. Well, I have since changed back to the Fuzion's. They are significantly less than the Potenza's, and look like a better tire all around. Thanks for the pics.

Thanks for the shots fordpower!
That sealed the deal for me. I ordered my Mach1's last week from C J Pony Parts. While I was out at Tirerack, I was looking for a local installer to have the Fuzion's drop shipped to, I found a shop about 3 miles from my house. I called them up to verify they worked with Tirerack and while I had the guy on the line, I asked how close he could come to TR's price. He said he would sell me the 255/50's for $118ea + $12ea for M&B, ($520 + misc fees) plus he can have the tires the next day! TR gets $400 for the tires + $58 shipping to me. Good price, but then you still have to wait for the tires to get here, find a place to M&B them, then haul the wheels & tires around to get it done. So for the few extra $, I am going to get them from him. By the way, the local Tires Plus want $650 for the same deal!

Thanks, Acadian! I will check out the BFG tire you mentioned.

My Fuzions 255/50/17's arrived today - $434.56 at the door in only 3 days! The do look fairly awesome! My GT is not a daily driver and will never see snow unless I'm caught in a freak summer snowstorm.

Even though they are only supposed to be 3/4" wider than the stock Pirellis, side by side they make them look positively puny. Can't wait to get them on.

I put those tires on my 03 before trading it in on my 05. I did not think they held the road as good as the Good Year's that they replaced NEW. Great price on the tire though.
