Sweet, I wish they had pics though. I hope they're not too tacky, but a real hood with a scoop would ad a ram air effect because the intake faces forward on GTs...wonder if they will come out with scoops for the back windows like the 69 GT 350s and 500s, nice find though

speaking of scoops, anyone think it would be possible to manufacture a rolldown window frame for the rear windows, so that you could have a semi funtional scoop on the windows and not worry about the rain I wouldn't think it impossible but I'm not a automotive engineer either.

Seriously doubt it. Where would the window go? You would have to modifiy the interior plastic panels to fit the window and mechanism.

You could install a screw drive to make the window tilt outwards in the back. Don't know about clearances, or if this is what you want.

That would be cool, but no way I'm forcing it open like that.

There has been some speculation that an aftermarket hood would weigh too much. I was talking to a guy from Ford and he said the new Mustang actually has an area on the bottom side of the hood to easily cut out a spot for a scoop, looks like some forward thinking there. I haven't looked under the hood yet, but can anyone confirm?

Dennis.

I have a few pics of CDC's stuff, but you have probly seen most of them.

The rendering doesn't even come close to giving the car justice. The glass roof doesn't have the stripe in it, the black around the headlights are painted to match the car, along with the hood scoop, side scoops, and the rear spoiler. It is my favorite of all the concepts so far. Enjoy...
