Are there functional louvers for the mustang 05? I actually don't know what the function of a louver is outside of trying to make the stang look pretty. Are there ones that still allow you to see out the window? Just wondering.

 

well years ago in the 60`s there purpose was to allow cool air to enter the car without affecting the aroedynamics of the car also the other purpose was to cool the rear brakes..but in this situation the louvers there to provide looks not function.

 

Quarter window "louvers" of the 60's were actually vents that allowed cabin air circulation. Rear window louvers blocked out sun heat and looked cool.

There should be some functional quarter window vents coming out sometime in the next year, but thats just my wishfull thinking. Until then the MRT louvers look the best in my opinion.
