Chcek this out,

might actually work for those of you in states that have to do this. Looks like the mount attaches with thumb screws and slides over the back of the bumper. You can even take it of for shows

I see that the thumb screw holds the actual bracket to the license plate, but I'm still trying to see how the part with the thumb screw is affixed to the car. It looks like it goes loops around and into something, but what keeps it from backing out?

I'm working on a bracket that attaches to the bottom of the bumper. It involves drilling two holes for bolts and removal of the bolts takes it on and off.
If anyone has something already built or designed something please help me . I could use more input.
My plate is due in two weeks.

This is my prototype taped to the bottom of the bumper.
[attachmentid=48193]
The bottom is even with the lowest point of the front but it doesn't look that way from this angle.

Is it too low? I know I've got to be on the right track. I told my wife it would protect the radiator better and she said,"I don't know what a radiator is".

It would be nice if they showed it actually mounted on a Mustang so we could see what it looks like.

$15.50 plus $3.95 = $4.00 worth of parts at Lowe's. Old boy shouldn't have posted such good pictures.
