Front end clearance

Hello all, it's been a while since I've posted, sorry for the absence ...

Which of these two options is going to give the higher front end clearance: a CS front end or the CDC chin spoiler? I am running an 05 GT that is not lowered and is on stock shoes.

Also, where is the cheapest place out there to get a CS front end?

TIA, TwoBlack

Thanks for that link. I am still interested to find an answer to my first question.

I have the CDC Classic chin spoiler, stock height tires and lowered 1.6" in the front. I'm sitting right at 4 7/8"(nearly identical to a 12 oz can)ground clearance in the center of the spoiler. The CDC Classic doesn't really lower the car at all. It is maybe an 1/8" thick and attatches under the front corners of the bumper. The problem lies in it is straight across where the OEM bumper raises up. This gives the impression of being lower as not only is it straight across, but also further out front. This results in a loss of angle of approach. As far as I know, the GT/CS bumper is 1.5" lower than the stock GT bumper at the corners, but the center raises back up near GT height in the center so you don't lose much clearance overall. Either one you go with being stock height and tire size, you shouldn't be any different than you are now as long as you don't go around hitting things with your front corners.

CDC Classic: Center section will be approx. 2.5" lower.

Thanks kooldawg, that's been my concern. I want to do one of these but this is my daily driver (for now) and I sure don't want to be scraping the thing up on street dips, etc. It looks to me like I need to get a CS front end. I was hoping the cheaper (CDC) fix would work.
