I just finished my GT front bumper converstion. I used the street scenes wiring kit. The fog lights work but....

I have to have the headlights on to get the fogs to turn on.

The fogs do not turn off when the high beams go on.

Is there any way to fix either or both of these?

 

If they had the wiring correct, it shouldn't be like that at all. I don't know if the wiring kit came with plugs or if you had to splice them... but you're gonna have to look at the wiring schematic and either change the pinout on your plugs, or change your splices. I don't have any resources for you, but maybe call the retailer you bought the parts from, or Street Scene directly and talk to a tech about it.

 

if you want to be able to turn the forgs on with the running only do what i did get the gt switch and hook to the wire that is used for the fogs. then you need to add a relay to the system that will interupt the wire to the fogs when the high beams are on. its a pretty easy fix
