Fog Light Delete?
I saw a picture of an 05 gt with what looked like smoke coloured lenses on the fog lights. To my mind ,it was a much nicer look than the bare gt lights or the empty v6 grill.
You posted that 3 times...
Anyway, I like the look of the fog lights on the bumper grill towards the outside, if they were smaller (which could be bought aftermarket), I say it was look perfect.
Aren't the new lights halogen?

Somehere else there is a thread about swapping grills..someone had purchased a GT grill and the lights only to find out that the GT grill did not fit into the V6 because of the way the mounting brackets, clips, etc. were designed. Maybe a V6 grill would fit but not the other way 'round.
Perhaps the body guy at Ford or the parts guy may know. You might be able to get the V6 grill to fit. It's supposed to cost about $90.00, so ask about the return policy before you buy.

If cervini ever gets thier kit done the fog lights are centered and moved down to look like the old Eleanor which I believe was a 1967 GT (well at least like the one in Gone in 60 Seconds). I would love to do that but where i live requires a license plate in the front. Really screws my ideas up alot.
I have a GT grill and fog lights but I don't think they will interchange between the GT and the V6.The V6 grill has two mounting pins on each side and 5 across the bottom of the grill. The GT has what looks like the same two pins on each side but only 4 across the bottom. The pins across the bottom of the grill are in different locations than th V6 grill.I have a Ford dealer that is going to see if they can swap them next week without a lot of work.If the side pins line up,it may be enough to secure the grill safely. The V6 bumper also has a ridge just in front of where the grill mounts, the GT doesn't have the ridge.I am going to try and remove my V6 grill this weekend and see if the GT grill lines up.Will let you know how I make out.I like the looks of the GT grill so I hope I can make it fit.[COLOR=#840084]
Removed the V6 grill but the GT grill will not fit in its place. The Gt grill looks the same but it is an inch wider along with some other differences.Put the V6 grill back it and going to return the GTgrill and lights back to Ford. You could take it one step further and replce to bumper cover with a GT bumper and then install the new grill.Don't know what that would cost from Ford, probably not cheap. It would then have to be painted, not sure it would be worth all the cost and work.
