Flat Black Hood

Good Afternoon!
I decided to black out the center portion of my hood, like the Mach One's of the early 70's. What do you think?

I like it. Good optical trick on the eyes.

It looks good - first picture was kind of hard to tell though.

I like it!

I've been considering getting the Cervini B2 fiberglass hood with shaker system. If I do, I'd probably do flat black on the inside, and get my rear spoiler painted the same flat black color. I really like the look of the old school cars...always have...

Add a shaker to it and call it done. I love it when people do something other than rally stripes.

Actually, I'd like to get a repro of a Scott Air Hat. The originals are collectors items now. My next mod will be the X-Charger Supercharger System that Silver Horse Racing sells. I don't need the air hat since the car breathes through the CAI, but it would still look cool!

Is that similar to the 21" blackjack stripe? Can't tell the width from the picture alone, but I know a similar scheme is done on the blackjack as well. Looks great though!

I had a local body shop paint the center section of the hood with semi gloss black. cost me $175.00. I think it was worth it.

The "Scott Air Hat" is the intake on top of the Weiand Supercharger on the black Mad Max Pursuit Special.
