Finally, a set of wheels we like.
After going with two other sets, I think I'm happy. We never really liked the black ones, because they just didn't seem to go with the color of the car. A young lady we know wanted them for her white Honda, so I sold those to her. I then bought a nOEM set (the ones that resemble the GT500 wheels). They looked OK, but with a +45 offset it put the tires a bit further in than I liked. So as I should have done at first, I ordered a set of the American Muscle Bullitt wheels. With a +30 offset they put the tire right where they should be. In my old worn out mind, it's hard to beat a set of Bullitt's on these little S197's.
Finally had some time to get the Devil Dust (pollen) off the car. It's really bad around here this time of year.

agreed, Bullitt wheels are perfect on these cars ... reminiscent of the old Torque-thrust or Cragar SS, but modernized a bit just like the car

If only they had been available in OEM 18x9.5" sizes, I would have them on my car...
