Yeah Mike, really goes well on your car, that was a good find. I was all set to buy the CDC, but if I decide to go with black accents who knows. How does that JC Whitney price compare to what you paid? And I hope you took the little woman out to a nice dinner for that. You got more guts than I do letting her do it.

She was in the "leave it" court, I was in the "remove it" court.....
Ok, another stupid question...

Do you remember the name of the ebay vendor that you puchased the sticker from?

btw, it all looks great

Nice! Your car , and Your wife/mechanic . The next time you want something for the Mustang and she's not sure if she wants you to have it, just tell her you'll let her install it.

Mike;

I saw that as well. I think they're great accent pieces. Not too much, but enough to be noticed by a person familar with the car.

I think they really make your car pop, especially in that color combo.

Oatz, I'm kind of biased, but rather than upgrading the mirrors why not just paint them to match the body color? It will be more noticable with your color car than it is on mine, but I still love mine. They are a very subtle touch, but it really adds something to the car.

Mike

It definitely looks good and I see the 69 retro look in the design, but based on the angle it presents to the air, its really a splitter, which is actually better.

I'm not trying to hijack this thread, but RadBOSS' comment made me ask. What is the difference/benefits between a splitter and a spoiler?

Thanks.

Spoilers are designed to create down force for better handling and can actually increase drag. Splitters are designed to re-direct airflow and can sometimes decrease drag.

Glad the pics helped out.....

Yeah, I guess it really is more of a splitter than a chin. Kinda a combo piece.....

Thanks again,
Mike

hey mike one more question. How was the fitment of the splitter/spoiler and how does the workmanship and durability look?

I think it looks great. But I'm a little concerned about my application. My car is lowered 1.5" and I feel that a molded plastic spoiler wouldn't last as long as a urethane product would on my car.

Actually, I'm a bit disappointed...

Well, the fitment and workmanship are great. No problem. As far as durability, I guess I will find out. But I will tell you that I went brain dead on about the second day, and drove straight into a parking bumper... couple of scrapes on the nose, but no breakage, or movement on the car. Threw some back to black and tire black on it, and nobody is none the wiser.....except me of course....

I am unlowered, on stock suspension. I measure about a 2 inch loss in clearance compared to stock. May be problematic if you are already lowered.....

Hope it helps,
Mike
