Finally got a lightbar

Pulled the trigger on a charcoal lightbar late last night from cj pony parts, and now the wait begins. This was one of my major hurdles. Whenever I get the tax refund in it will be cs front and rears. Imagine a light bar on this and tell me what you think!! I think it'll give it a more aggressive look

It's been so long since I installed mine (I think I did mine back in 2007 or 2008), I don't remember 100%, but I remember it not being that hard... Measure twice and cut once!

Sounds good! What about as far as wiring? I know it's plug and play now

Can't help you there, I have the bar without a light... I like the look of the bar, but didn't want the extra light! But I wouldn't think it would be too hard... Especially if it's plug and play!

If you bought the CDC, the template works fine and the install should take less than 2 hours (even with the light). This was my first mod and IMO, should be done to every vert

Install is very straight forward as far as bracket mounting and cutting the hole in the panel cover. As for the wiring...I purchased and installed "lightless"...

You may want to keep your eyes open for a used set of panel covers, for days when you pull the bar to clean, or just change up the look, you can pop off the covers and put on a set w/o holes.

That's a good idea! Thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately mines the grey interior so it might be a little harder to find. I'll keep that in mind though since I can move this one to other years

Well it took longer than we thought... Couldn't find the dang tan wire with blue stripe but once we did everything went smoothly. Great quality stuff. I'll post pics tomorrow. This week has been absolutely beautiful with about 70 degree weather and sunny. Looking forward to tomorrow

Congrats! I think the 'verts look sort of naked without a bar. Was one of my first mods when I got mine:

I have a light bar. I even have a SVT windscreen for it. I hate light bars. Lol

4 point cage will be in it one day.

Yep. Here's some pics. Haha al you're too hardcore for me. You're car says it all. I apologize for the pic too. It's probably not very good and there's no special scenery. But you can see the lightbar!
