I think fender flares look great on Jeeps.

But I'd have to see it in person to make up my mind on a Mustang. I'm pretty doubtful that it'd look good in person. Internet pics w/ photoshop touch-ups don't show the real fit, bodylines, etc.

The 3D Carbon Racer Boy kit was hot at SEMA the first year. Much of the inspiration for my build came from that car. I think like anything else, when you stray from the classic aspect of any car it becomes dated. It's the old "fad" concept with clothes, just for cars. If you dress so nobody notices, then you never need new clothes. If you want to be "hip, cool, phat, tight..." then be sure to have a endless revenue source.

This is just my opinion, but.....I think ford has "flared" them just about enough. I say lets get some hip kits for our S197's. Just my opinion.

Those flares only work as a complete kit with the 3D carbon body kit. I saw a guy's car that had added just the flares and it looked dumb without the supporting front bumper, side skirts and rear bumper.
