I'm not really very happy with any of the fender badges, Pony Package, Snake, GT, but really like this one. How many people would actually know that it was a Saleen badge? I would imagine that the quality is very good and it doesn't say "Saleen"!

A Saleen badge with a Roush hood scoop would be good for confusing people at the very least

Its your car. Who cares what anyone thinks. Not my cup of tea. I saw some great 4.6 ones on Mustang Tuning... (Red or Blue) Some with High Performance and some with Super Charged etc...

I'd tend to go with the "4.6 HP" look Rich. I think there's enough people out there that know Saleen, Roush, Steeda, etc, etc, that an eyebrow or two might be raised by someone who's paid the big bucks for what's underneath if they have one of those.

But having said that, I'm a fine one to talk....with "GTA" badges on the side of mine that haven't been on a Mustang since 1967. So like SRQ 05GT says, "who cares, it's your car".

Beware, when you put a "281" badge on your car, people get confused and ask you what's under the hood all the time....

Is it a Inline 4 or 6? :notnice: Dumb people.

It seems that they would ask if it was a 4 or a 6 with 4.6 badge?

JMO. I think the 4.6 blue would look great on your car. Or even better the billit 281 or 4.6. with the silver color of the Stang. I dont see the Saleen. JMO.

I have these on mine. They are plastic but seem to be decent quality. They're also holding up well. As a side note... I took the original "GT" badges and put them in the center of the interior door panel. I get a lot of from people. They don't look like an afterthought. They look original. Which is the look I go for.

I think the better route is the choice you made. I wouldn't personally go the Saleen route mainly because, well, its a Saleen badge.

I ran the 4.6L High Performance badges on the Mach 1 berfore I traded it in. The badges were on for more than a year, held up really good to the Texas heat. Quality was great.
