Fang Performance Mystery 7 body kit
I saw this body kit online at fangperformance.com, the same Mystery 7 kit that debued at the 2005 SEMA show. Exact pricing and availability isn't available yet, but they're estimating $700 for the trunklid (integrated ductail spoiler that's 3 piece just like the original GT500's), and about $1200 for the front fascia/hood combo (at least for the Mystery 8). Anyone know what i could expect to pay for paint and prep on the kit? (nose extension, hood, chin spoiler, trunklid, fender extensions) Or just the nose (nose extension, hood and chin spoiler)?

I've been wanting to see better closeups of the front end of the 7. Looks like competition for the Cervinis B2 kit, but more expensive.
I'm leaning more towards Cervinis myself, but want to see both of them up close before I really decide.

Absolutely right tom. took a look at their online forum and there's literally a year between two of the posts. Something about theft was in there too, which meant they had to make all-new molds. But, according to the latest post (July 12th, 2006) the "eyebrows" are already being made and as of this week or next, the hoods will be ready for production. Of course, with just the trunk lid and the endcaps estimated at $850-950, I don't think this is going to be cheap. This is the first time I've actually looked at a body kit, so how much would a normal aftermarket hood cost?
and back to the original question, how much for prep and paint?
I was hopin to see if somone else had closeups of the kit too before I made a judgement. Especially at the prices they'll ask.
This is what i've found so far for closeups:
picture quality is horrible. Almost looks like they used a camera phone or something.

I'm not much of a fan of the ironing board on Cervini's, myself, and definitely not a fan of their chin spoiler either. I prefer the look of the '67 GT 350/500, which is what the hood replicates.
Prep and paint price? Anyone??

one thing that cervinis does not have is the ducting under the hood for a CAI like Fang does...i want to get the Fang hood because of this the hood and everything is available if you call them...they have not updated the site but they are makeing those cars and selling but if you call their dealership they might have some extra parts or can order the parts to be made for you
