Well, I have enough for black no text and white no text. Still waiting on enough responses for any other designs/colors.

 

FORD does not own the rights to GT350. That was a Shelby thing. Number of Steps from his desk to the shop.

No need to send anything right now, though. I will PM all those that have requested in this post when I'm ready to collect.

According to the sign guy, anything other than white and black allows the pigment of the car to show through, even before the fade. The colors are not fully opaque, and therefore, the car's color will bleed through. White and black are the only ones that are fully opaque. We could sell you a colored stripe for a colored car, but we know it won't look right and don't want anyone to be unsatisfied with their purchase.

I am more then excited about this! Wanted these for some time now and was acutally about to contact a local place to see if they could do them. Feel better now that you are taking care of it as you know what we want.

I want a silver set for my redfire. Why will colors only work on white? I don't understand

 

I explained it a few posts back, but basically, black and white are opaque. The colored ones wouldn't be fully opaque, even before the fade. On anything other than white, the color of the car will show through the stripe. I'd love to be able to sell them in every color. But it just won't work the way you would want it to.

 

Do you have any pics of them put on the car like the GT/CS?

 

I might be interested in red if you get some more takers.

No idea yet. This thread was just testing the waters. 1-2 months is a rough guess. I'll try to get them out before summer, but as you know, that's not fully up to me, but the sign person.
