Exhaust Tips-Right Size
Anyone know what the specs are for the ford exhaust tips? part# 5r3z-5k238-ba
If I have those dimensions then I can probably find what I'm looking for in stainless steel.

I've read through all the posts on exhaust tips and still can't figure out what the correct inlet size needs to be in order to slide a tip over the stock gt muffler tip. I measured the gt tip and it is approximately 3" dia on the outer edge and 2.75+/- on the inside dia. I'm looking to go with a stainless steel rolled edge 10" length and 4" outer dia. What is everyone doing, cutting the gt tips and then clamp/weld the tips to the inside versus sliding something over the outside? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I have a set of factory GT exhaust tips that I ordered with my 2007 that have never been installed. I put on the Shelby exhaust, so I never put these on. They clamp on, but unlike the 2005-06, they are better, because the clamp isn't tack welded on, and so you can put the clamp on anyway you want so it won't be visible. PM me if you are interested in the tips. They are still in the box and in my garage.
