exchange wheels at dealer?

Hey all!
Initially I wanted the 18" chrome bullits from Ford when getting my 06 GT, but was satisfied with the 17" grey painted ones.

- do you know if dealers will take in my old ones (less than 6000 miles) if I want to purchase the 18" wheels, and give some money in return for them?

It is HIGHLY unlikely they will give you anything for your wheels. The painted wheels are so common they can be had on the cheap from many sources, including Saleen. Besides, most dealer parts departments, if not all, don't want to deal with used parts. You might aske them if they have any customers that may want your wheels. I know my parts department will help locate customers that want to swap parts, but that is highly unusual (small town dealership). Good luck!

That kind of deal only happens before you drive off the lot.
