ENGINE BAY DRESS-UP

Installed a hood lift kit and eliminated the prop rod.
Installed a “Powered By Ford” Plenum Cover.
From Midwest Auto Gear:
Redfire GT Shock Tower Covers
Redfire Radiator Cover (no prop rod clips)
Redfire Radiator Cover Extensions (with prop rod filler plug)
Redfire Mirror Covers (not installed yet, to cold out still for mother in-law tape)
I painted the Air Filter Cover and Fuse Box Cover Redfire. I may paint the coolant tank top.
The only thing I not sure of is if I want to do the fuel rail covers that match the plenum cover.

I went the painted route because I'm not a big fan of the "who puked chrome all over my engine thing", each to their own.

I like that a lot. It looks great IMOI also think you should consider painting the plenum cover (base, not the raised ribs or pony) redfire also.

Did you have a shop paint those or did you get the factory paint in a spray can?
thanks.

Looks great. Now you need Chrome Valve Covers to finish it off. The fuel rails and valve covers will pretty much do it. Really clean and nice!

When the car was delivered it had a small rub on the front bumper cover. I didn't trust the dealer to fix it so I had a local shop, which is owned by a friend take care of it. While he had it I asked him to paint the covers. He did a very nice job. I'm very pleased with how it is turning out.

A very clean finished look. It's the way they should have come from the factory. I'm not a huge fan of chrome either. A little goes a long way. Nice job.
