Well this is a new thing. The drivers side door handle will not pull all the way back against the car. When I open the door and let go there is a 1/4 gap, where it used to pull up tight. I sure hate that because the guys at the Ford dealer will have to remove the door panel to replace it and I am sure they will not put everything back like it should be, or worse they will scratch the car. Now I know that sounds like I have a bad attitude, well I will work on that. Anyone else out there have this problem? mark_sanders@bellsouth.net

Do a search - I know I already posted in a thread about this - so you are not alone.

From what I remember that have to get a whole new handle assembly. I should be having mine done in a few weeks.....

Mine is doing the same thing. I'm waiting until I can spare the car for long enough to have the skipping shaker, the popping struts, the exhaust rattle, and the rear end whine fixed too.

I had the Skipper 500 replaced 2 times already. The poping in the front end fixed and the gas tank replaced. I guess I will go by the dealer and get them to order the part. I hope it comes body color. If they have to paint it, I am sure it will take longer than I want them t have the car, Thanks Mark
