Thumbs up

Hi,

There's nothing I've found in the manual, and it doesn't appear to simple unscrew (or lower).

Does any know how to remove it for car washes, etc.?

Thanks.

Did you take those pics just for this???

Seriously, if you really need to take it off... also wrap masking tape around the bottom a couple of times and you can avoid scratching the base (with the proper wrench). But there's no need to take it off for a car wash... the best way to apply Zaino car wash is with a sponge and water.

now please... no step-by-step pic's on how to wash a car

Herknav,

You kill me dude... I remember your step-by-step from the other forum I'll tell ya though... That is a great set of pics... Very professional looking.. I think you missed your calling... Perhaps an internet site with how-to pics???

Can you post a step-by-step pic sequence of how to put the vert top down... *LMAO*...

(I take my antenna off when I put my cover on. It's just easier than finding the hole with the grommet for the antenna when I have the cover all folded up. that's the only reason I take it off)

I am pretty sure several folks have done a delete, putting a window antenna in. I would like to see something on moving the antenna to the rear, or better, putting a retractable on the rear...

Hmm... step by step convertible down pics... hmmm... maybe after I finish the "how to open your hood" and "how to put on your soft boot" series...

You could do a whole series... I can see it now...

"how to pump gas"

"how to replenish washer fluid"

"how to turn left"

"how to turn right"

"how to drive straight" <-- advanced course

(Quick Hijack) Thanks for compliment on my avatar. What the hey, it's a hobby.

(I now return you to your regularly scheduled thread.)

There are other posts on the delete. One I saw, the guy removed it, had the fender filled in and painted. Looked sharp. Just use the search feature. Maybe we need a step by step on the search feature.

Personally, I'd like to change it to chrome in keeping with my 68/05 blending theme.
