Does your hood shake at high speed?

 

not anymore. hood pins took care of that.

Mine does, starts a little after 100 mph. Whenever I buy a new hood, I am definitly getting some hood pins on it. I was scared the first time I noticed it, because about a week before, for some reason the hood on my '89 nissan pick up (my POS beater truck) wasn't shut properly, and on the way to work at 6 in the morning, I'm driving and all of a sudden I see this blur through the windshield. Pulled over and after my heart slowed down from beating out of my chest, I got out, slammed the hood shut, noticing that I bent the hood and majorly cracked the windshield. First time that ever happened to me. So for now on, I always make sure the hoods on my cars are shut properly and will not come up ever again.

My hood is fine.

All shaking is done by the guy in the other lane.
