Clear Front Bumper Turn Signals

Can someone that has these already tell me which is the best in quality and appearance and where they got them? I've been looking on ebay but i'm kinda skeptical on some of the dealers on there and the quality of their merchandise. I'm definitely goin with the stealth bulbs but $60 is kinda high for a set of 3157&194bulbs. But oh well. Thnx in advance for any responses.

Looks like our cars kinda look the same, and personally I'm looking at getting a pair of these. I really like the look of them vs the clear.

Yeah i was doing some searchs on the forums for threads in the past on this issue and they were talkin how alot of the suppliers had to actually start putting some amber in the clear lenses due too law and i'm tryin to find out if that's true how some websites still show fully clear turn signal lenses and alos on ebay.

Marine:

I found out the hard way that amber inserts are now the law. APC is one of the more reputable manufacturers, but they won't sell you "all clear" ones anymore.

Get the best e-bay deal you can find, and MAKE SURE THEY ARE REALLY ALL CLEAR. If you don't it's a $70 mistake. (like I said, I found out the hard way...)

I just installed the ones you can get @ v6 Mustang Stuff....I purchased them from a place in L.A. (866-861-3784) who represent the manufacturer (SCS) Very happy with the look...no amber/white reflector (not required in Ca.) I went with an amber Nokia bulb,$6.99, twice as bright when flashing and smaller than the typical 3157, and you hardly see it....the "egg look" is not that obvious. They also sell a 3157 chrome for $6.99, but not a 194. I left the 194 white in place....you don't even notice it, and kinda cool @ night with the white side marker (also legal in Ca.) and the amber running/parking light.

Also came across a company out of the NW that has a clear with a white reflector, almost identical to the APC version (by the way, I've been told APC is not the same quality as these 2 manufacturers, but who knows) go here http://www.xtralights.com/index.asp?...TS&Category=63.

Also one of the posts suggested the APC version was a loose fit. The SCS's are a tight fit. There are a couple of other threads out here, one started by me, with pics of the SCS's.

Good luck, and let me know if more info/help is needed.

Oh, the SCS's are stamped DOT SAE approved....who knows if they really areor not...check your state laws on what's legal

Go to Kragen and get a clear LED (amber light) 194 bulb for your side markers. I have those, they work great!! They are pretty cheap too.

I have the clear lense w/clear reflector. Used the stock side marker bulb and used SilverStar's for the turn/parking.

I was eyeballin' my front today and I think I'm going to go w/the clear w/black housing to match the headlights.

Here's a side shot of the current lense.

I went with the american muscle ones as well. They are completely clear and I think they look great. I used the stealth bulbs which are a little pricey, but have a life time warranty and are clear when the lights are off.

I was eyeing those with the black housing, for my black car, but i was worried about there being no reflector to help send the light out and about. Does anyone have the black backed ones? How bright are they when the lights are on? Any pics?

Otherwise I'll just go with the all clear and stealth bulbs.
Thanks.

Upon further review, I got another idea.
Black housing, clear lens from Xtralights. Not shown, but I'm asking them about it. Here is the chrome version. I like the white reflector look on the sides, something I hadn't seen before.

With LED blubs, that light up amber

If they are too bright or don't look just right, then maybe a little tint to hide things....we'll see.
Has anyone tried these yet??

Also, are you using the stock bulbs? If not what kind are they and where can I get them? Are the stock bulbs clear or amber?
