Do You Know This Car?
#23
Hey. We were the ones who built this car in our body shop. I saw this on another site and figured I would post here to. We custom made this out of our own body shop. We are in Texas. We made the grill, upper, and lower scoops custom. None of the parts were from cervinis, blow-by, or any other Eleanor company. This is a modern version of the '67 Gt 350. The hood isn't functional. We made that ourselves also. As far as I know, noone makes that hood functional yet. It's good to know that this is getting spread. Some rumors aren't true though. We do still have our shop by Houston Texas and still will make these parts. THIS IS A REAL CAR. The off-the hook freakin' rican' award was won at the show in Kingwood. I have many pictures of this car and ALL ARE REAL. Here is a link to our website. It's not finished but the pictures are pretty much done. The owner does live in Oklahoma. Also, I would love to know where you heard of this from. I didn't know it had grown so popular. David James

David, you did a great job on your car! If you don't mind answering one question, Is the rear bumper on your car the v6 bumper,if it is? when ordering the v6 bumper what will I have to do to make shure it won't have the notches cut in it. I've been waiting for a replacement bumper, that was being fabercated by Keanen, but, this is taken so long , that I'm thinking of just getting the v6 bumper, until he gets my fiberglass one done.Respectfully, James

Um...those are not Cervinis scoops. Those look like actual 60s shelby Scoops he put on there. That side scoop does not work at all with the lines of the 05. But it's good to know that a 60s quarter window scoop works well.

And I'm not trying to diss' David and his shop. They did an incredible job on the car, just for me those lower scoops are simply a miss styling-wise

I like everything but the scoops and the rear..needs to be lower compared to the sides and the front..I think the regular gt rear bumper would of been nice but maybe it was a v6? that's one thing i like about the gt..bodywise it looks lower cause of the crease in the front, painted side rockers, and lower creased rear bumper.

You guys did a great job on that Stang.
Is that hood all aluminum?Just curiouse if it is would you be able to custom make that hood with an intergrated aluminum hood scoop?
Theres a guy named Redfire05GT and a few of us here at this forum that would be interested if this is possible.
Thanks

The hood is just a regular hood from the factory. The one that came with the car. We can mount the aluminum scoops to the hood if you are interested. You can e-mail me if you are interested enough and I cangive you a number to call.
