I tend to be a purist, but I came across these at a local Discount Tire. Price is not bad for 18" wheels with tires and I want to dress my windveil blue GT up a bit.

What do you guys think? Nice? Too "ricer" looking for a 42 yr old guy?

If I buy them, I plan to keep my 17's just in case I (or my 2 1/2 yr. old son when he gets it) want to revert to bone stock.

I also think these Katana's look pretty cool. Let me know which wheel you smart people prefer!

Thanks those are pretty cool. I do like the "rivet" look on the rims I posted however. Kinda reminds me of the centerline racing wheels I had on my 68 Chevelle.

If you have to ask if it looks wrong, you think it looks wrong on some level.

My guess is that the price is right, but the wheel may not be. Unless you love them, don't buy them.

How about putting on a nice set of classic centerlines?

Diamondblue, I was thinking about that last night. I went to the centerline website and they no longer seem to make the solid racing wheels. They all have a spoke or vented design and I'm not that crazy about them.

The Katana's look good but the other is average. They don't to much like a ricer wheel. I'm pretty picky about wheels and I think those Katana's would look good on an 05.

I think they look great, Art. And I'm one of the most anti-rice people on here.

Oh yeah they do.

Auto Drag I

Auto Drag III

Dig around that site, that first page does not show all the variations.

wheels don't make a car rice it's what you do to the rest of it. Still I think you will ba happier with the stock wheels after you see them on the car. IMO.

they don't look rice, however I have never liked rims that have that "multiple lug pattern" on them.

He's right.
If you say you like them, don't look for someone to give you a reason not to buy them. Unless you just don't like them.
