DG quarter louvers and BSM rocker stripes installed!

I've gotten mixed reviews on my latest 2 mods, the installation of the DG Custom Auto quarter window louvers and the BSM S-style rocker stripes.

Sorry guys, no write-ups for these 2. Rocker stripes get put on like the racing stripes and the louvers are just 'peel & stick'. Literally took less than 15 minutes to do both (most of which was spent laying out the stripe location).

Some like it, and others don't really care for either (or both). But, for those who dig the look, here's some shots for your viewing pleasure..

Thumbs up on both mods! The stripe adds just enough white to the rocker area, and the louvers just scream "MUSTANG!!!" Good job.

Looks good.... however I'm not the greatest when it comes to appearance advice, but IMO the side stripes kinda look like they're missing something...... That's just me though, overall your car still looks incredible. I wish I could keep mine that clean.

I like the louvers where you can still see out the window and from the outside, they only cover the window area. Good choice.

I really like the louvers. They look great. The side stripes feel like they're missing something. I'd like to see someone come up with some rocker stripes similar to the GT/CS stripes, in that they fade. Hrmm.. Maybe I'll chop something when I get home. Back to your car though. They just come up a bit short. I think they actually stick out because they're so small, instead of being subtle, which I would assume is what you were going for.

Love the louvers Bill. Not so sure about the rocker strips though. I think that maybe if they were a little bit longer it would look better, but it's kinda unique the way you have them.

Again, this is my opinion, but something along these lines, would look slick on your car.

I'm thinking of getting the DG louvers also . How is the interior side finished ? Their web site states that only the exterior is painted . In one of your pics , it looks like the inside is also painted . If so, did you paint it yourself ? They look great on your car .

Steve- I like it! (But without the text)

Who makes/sells it?

John- I didn't paint the inside, I installed it straight from the box.
Click on the DG link in my sig below to see more pics of the louvers.

Here you go, I kinda liked it plain too, but thought I'd throw something on there as an example. As far as I know, no one makes it, yet, though I'm sure I've given someone an idea.

Me like! Can they even make vinyl stripe that actually fades? I really dig the fade, but I'm afraid its probably only doable in paint.

The GT/CS stripes are vinyl. The Mach 1 stripes from the SN95 were also vinyl. I don't know how they do it, either. It's like the cadbury egg. I dunno how they do it, but it's good.

I have to agree, your car looks kick a$$ without needing the stripes on the rockers, they just look out of place to me, unfinished.

Steve did a great job. Last month I talked about similar stripes here: http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showpo...1&postcount=16

I think we can get these done if a vendor (BSM, or Graphic Express) sees a large interest. I may start a thread to gauge interest.

Hey Steve, if you have some time, could you do one with the text "GT 350" since that's a big text seller with those vendors?

Sure, I'll do that when I get home around 8 central. Luckily I save it as a PSD.

That fade is HOT! I dig that look.

I know on my '04 Mach, the fade was just a clear vinyl with some colored material on it to create the fade. I probably didn't say that right, but you get the idea.

I found a place that sells the 'fade' stripe. Just has to be trimmed a little to go on the rocker.

Auto Trim Design

Only thing is they're darn near $100!!
