Yah, I have to agree, 18's are as big as I will go. The 20's just don't fit with the oldschool muscle car theme IMO...

So 255s up front and 285s out back on the same width rim won't look bulged at all? That's a 1.25" tread width difference...
I do like the free shipping part though.

Yeah - nobody said rice - I just said way too big....
And those Boyd's on that Roush are NOT 20s... those look like 18s to me..... The wheel STYLE itself is not bad..... just over 18 is too big for me.....

Am I the only person that thinks 285s on a 9" rim would bulge too much?
I like big tires too, but if you're getting 285s out back I'd look for 10" rims too... just my $0.02 CAD (gotta love the exchange rates
)

Nobody said rice and I agree, I still don't like the looks of 20's. I am glad I stuck with 18's

Sure some may be brave, but getting that extra width will make a big improvement in everything.
Only bad thing is there isnt any size at 275 that will not affect your speedo, unless you have a programmer or if it isn't an issue.

Actually it's a fact. 285's would not be very safe on a 9" wide rim, especially with it being such low profile. You'd want 9.5 as an absolute minimmun. With a (' wide rim 275's are the absolute maximum you'd want.

lets not be an extremist here, but it is recommendable. Running 285's on 9" may be like if I ran 255's on my 7"wide rim. Can you do it, yes. Is it recommended, no.

Hey - I am headed to the Mustang Club meeting tonight - I'll let you know about any cool upcoming shows - and in a week or two (when my schedule calms down), we'll take our first run up to the track for a Test and Tune night like we talked about
