Hey thanks. Tough for a Cowboys fan to admit to agreeing with a niners fan, but it appears we do!

Another fellow Cowboys fan. Let me see routing for the "Boys", driving a Mustang and living in the USA, it just can't get better than that! A true American.

I am not one for anything Mustang on my car. In fact I was planning on taking off all pony markings of any kind.

This thread may have changed my mind.

I like it a lot!

Looks wonderful, I agree though, you might be creating a headache come waxing time!

The waxing issue hasn't come up yet ... I hit it with about four coats of Meguiar's Gold Class before I did it so I can put it off for a while! The headrest covers should be coming back from Giulio in a few days with the tri-bar and running ponies, I can't wait. What a great time to be alive!

Oh, and God Bless Texas and Bobby Knight!

The looks great. Tell us how you did the install. I am not sure I could ever get the letters straight and properly spaced. One thing for sure with the primer that 3M stuff stays where its placed and you have to destroy it to remove.

just got mine yesterday from texasmustang.com install took about 5 minutes and it looks awesome!!

i aligned the "T" with the middle of the third brake light, and worked out from there. I originally eyeballed the whole thing, and walked back and adjusted letters to make sure they were straight. I realized i had placed the center of each letter 4 and 1/2 inches apart. then went back with a ruler and made sure they were all equal didstance from the decklid edge. that was pretty much it.

WOW does it ever make a huge difference in the toughness of the back of the car!!

I was stoked!

thanks for the info on texasmustang!!

awesome mod!

Very nice. I like it. Strangely, I don't know if that would look good on all colors though. Maybe it's just me.

I understand what you're saying about all colors ... like white for instance, but you never know! Here are the install instructions I used from Original Sin's install:

"Start with the middle "T" and mount it in the middle, half-way between the top of the trunk lip and the bottom of the 3rd brake light. The distance from the bottom edge of the "T" to the trunk lip works out to about 9/16th". Then, true to 60's specs, locate the middle of the first "M" 11 3/4" from the left edge of the trunk, and the middle of the last "G" to the same distance from the right edge of the trunk. Your "U-S" on the left and "A-N" on the right then go about 4 1/2" apart (at their centers), eg. the center of the "U" will be about 4 1/2" from the center of the "M" and so-on."
