Whaddyou guys and gals think? I wish I could claim the idea as my own, but I followed the advice of Original Sin, who was creating a retro GTA at the time. I followed his directions to the "t" and it turned out great, but I thought I would share the pics of the letters on a black car.

Wow, that picture looks better than I thought it would. That's probably the best Mustang nameplate badging I've see on this car so far. Personally, I still prefer it without the word 'Mustang' on it.

Aw man, that's what I am going to do. Looks just like my dad's 1969 Mach 1. Totally retro, totally sweet. Great mod!

That is awsome. I have wanted to do that ever since I saw the new Shelby which has the same on its trunk. Great mod. May I ask you where got the letters?

Great pic! A real work of art - the way Ford should have made it.

That is high on the list of Mods when mine comes it.

Looks good!
However, I would not want to wax around those letters all the time. :bang:

That looks great! .
Are you going to do the front hood too?
Or you think that would be to much of a head ache?

I'm gonna pass on the hood letters. I laid them out on the hood, and it really didn't look right. There is too much slope to the hood to make it right.

I ordered the letters from Texas Mustang. They were $15 plus shipping, and have double sided tape on them.

I haven't waxed since the letters went on, but I have washed it. (After all, it's BLACK.) Not fun. Not fun at all ... but still worth it I think. Thanks for the kind words! Giulio is working on some custom headrests for me, I'll put up those pics when they come in.
