Cutting a hole for dual exhausts?
Has anyone ever cut a hole for their bumper? I don't know if I want to do that...if I screw up, that would be baddd. What kind of materials would u need to complete this task?

There's actually a link to a paper template and instructions floating around somewhere in the forum. Might want to do a search on it. I think Ford Racing provides a template as well for how to cut the bumper.
You'll want to use either an air saw or a nice jig saw with a fine blade for cutting the bumper.

There's a template available on www.pypesexhaust.com .
You can use a razor knife to score the outline then use a dremel to cut it out.

I used a dremel as well. I made a template from the drivers side and then just adjusted it to the passenger side and cut. Its not the smoothest cut in the world, but once youve got the exhaust tip in there you wont be able to see it anyway.

it's simple to do...
here is my exhaust getting installed
exhaust install
after cutting it out

and a little photo shop magic to see what it will look like

That all depends on the mufflers and crossover you go with. The cheapest route is to get some GT takeoff mufflers and a GT takeoff H-pipe. I went with the expensive route and bought some stinger mufflers for mine and all in all my setup ran me about $900 installed, but if you go the takeoff route you can probably get it done for half that price(if even that much).

Using GT mufflers (bought on eBay), GT midpipe & hangers (bought from Ford dealer), it cost me less than $300 for everything, parts and installation. A good high performance muffler shop can easily fabricate the crossover (H or X pipe).

Part list for Single to Dual exhausts: 1 driver side GT midpipe, part number 4R3Z5A212AB. 2 Brackets (Hangers), part number 4R3Z-5A246-AA.
either buy an X-pipe or a good muffler shop can fabricate one.
