You really need the heat extractors (vents) for the GT500. It gets REALLY hot in there. The blower is hot HOURS after shutting down.

The GT gets hot enough.......I honestly don't think the heat extractors on my hood help much. It seems just as hot as it did with the stock hood.

From what I know, the stock hood will work with the GT500 front end.
