I traded in my '05 GT hardtop for an '05 V6 convertible. It came with the stock V6 rims with spinners, my understanding is the size is 16x7 but i don't know what the stock backspace and offset are.

The question is, I saw these beautiful cragar SS rims on Jegs. It says they are 16x8, I believe they also have 16X7's somewhere. Here is the link:

Don't know the answer to your question but I have those rims on my car in 18 x 9:

 

so nobody knows the rear spacing or bolt circle of the stock rim to compare the fit? as far as going from 16x7 to 16x8 on stock would that make a difference? thanks i really want to find this info out.
