Yes, I used the 2001 Dark Highland Green and she started out black and has Charcoal leather interior with IUP.
Yeah, those are all those stinking recon and inspection stickers just under the rear bumper. The pics were take on Ford Island. I have been trying to make it to one of the local Mustang club meetings but seem to be gone everytime. Will keep trying though.
Still looking for some good chrome trim for the grille if anyone has seen anything besides the PJ trim.
Thanks again all!!

David. Great looking car I've spent 6 months out at the Ford Island Navy Inn (worked up at Camp Smith)

Image all the fun he could have had with us, if he had titled this thread:

"2008 Bullitt Spy Shots"

We would have bought it hook line and sinker.

At Camp Smith myself now. Moved from VA Beach last year.

Want to lower it but the roads are pretty bad here in HI. Patches and hills. I would rather keep my underside intact. I will do it when I get back to the mainland.

Have you tried the chrome door trim on the grill? I did it on mine, but I don't have the overlay like you do. Very cheap, and looks great.

Your car is gorgeous, love the hood. Great job!

I didn't think the hills in the background looked like the windward side, but I haven't been to Oahu in many years, so didn't want to say anything.

REALLY nice car David. Welcome. I too love the hood. I'm not a fan of 20's. They just don't fit the "retro" aspect IMHO, but hey, that's just me. doesn't mean I can't appreciate a job well done!

That car couldn't be sweater if it had Salma Hayek, Halle Berry and Kobe Tai wrestling nude on the hood..... Well that might be some hotter, but it's still pretty **** amazing. Good work.

Overall well done. I think the 20s take away from the sport/racey inspired Bullitt. Other than the 20s I really like what you've done.

BTW on the chrome grille trim, go to Autozone and get some aftermarket chrome door trim, it's plastic chrome u-shaped stuff. You can use it to line around your grille. Do a search on this forum and you'll see lots of people who've done it.

Welcome to the board man!!! Love the car, way to break away from the Cliche 05 GT looks. The 20's are great!!! Look a little bigger on your car for some reason, but great none the less. I would lower the car though, the ride isn't going to be affected that badly nor will the ground clearance. You know how the roads are in Va Bch and I have never had an issue with my BMR springs.

The only suggestion I have is to change out that rear medallion with one from Silver Horse racing, the black one http://www.silverhorseracing.com/web...ategory_id=255

I got one in black and one in chrome, swapped the parts and not I have a black outer ring and chorme inner and my buddy has the reverse. NICE Part.

Friggin' awesome job! My favorite hood is the '68 with the scoops and after seeing it on the '05+ Mustang, I SO want that hood!

Excellent job!

I did have the chrome door guard trim on the grille but wasn't sure about it. I will put it back on and see what you all think. Will post those pics soonest.

I did look at the SHR medallion and think that it will be an addition in the fall. I was looking at the pollished one and will just paint the middle circle black.

Here she is with the chrome trim around the grille... I was 50/50 on it before the suggestions. Maybe something of higher quality will come out soon?
