The best thing is to e-mail KC and get a listing of his hot sheets. He has put together a GT500 front facia "kit" with all the needed parts so you won't have to trying to figure out everything that you will need.....he's already done it for you.
As for the total cost, will be dependant on if you do it yourself, or have someone else install it. Dont forget the paint. I'm going to do the install myself and am going to do the front, rear, and hood. So far, just for paint, my estimates are around $1100. Though I still have 3 other places to check with. E-mail KC for his price on the kit.

05stangkc is Kevin's user name on here. Do a member search and you will find it there. I don't know it off the top of my head. KC helped me out a lot. You can also do a search for Clevenger Ford in California and call the parts department. Thats how I got in touch with him during my GT500 front end conversion. He's the best!

One more thing I was thinking is I could go with a Classic Design Concepts Billet Aluminum Grille silver or black? and do the Saleen HID light.

What do you guys think?

This would be cheeper but have a good clean look. CDC makes a upper and
lower Billet Grill. Are they the best out there?

Oh man, I'm in love with the GT500 conversion (except the hood, which I don't want, love the GT-R look). And Grabber Orange is the rarest GT500 color anyway, so your car would really stand out, not to mention it looks good already!

I know the grills are cheaper, but once you get it painted, the bumper cover is pretty easy to install by yourself along with most other things, not to mention you're in the right place to get help.

Are those Foose Nitrous wheels? I didn't see you in the wheel thread. They look great!

Thanks ya those are the Foose Nitrous wheels I have on there.

I have been thinking and thinking about the GT500 Conversion I see the
parts would cost me about $1400 the paint would cost me about $300
but then I will have to spead about $300 more to have the clear bra
put on the new bumper I just had this one done about 2 weeks ago.

So it would be about $2000 to $2100 total to do it.

Don't remind me. I have several projects I'd love to do that would take me into the several thousand range each....:sigh:

However, I only meant that A) because these conversions are definitely spendy not very many have really done them (we see a lot here because a lot of people here are like minded, but how often do you see it on the street...) B) I have yet to see one person do that conversion in G.O. and C) your car looks pretty sweet and it would only get better.

Clearly you have to go with what you're comfortable with. For myself, I think I'll end up just collecting a stack of part numbers and buying stuff a little at a time, unless I can get all the parts cheaper as a package.
