Well, the end of the seventh week came and went yesterday as I wait for ANYTHING on the construction of my wife's Mineral Grey GT Convertible. I have already purchased a sequential light kit to install from http://www.webelectricproducts.com/products.htm. Also under consideration is a light bar (read pseudo roll bar) and a functional shaker hood scoop. I would really like to see some company make the hood from the GT proto with the nostrils on the front, but that will probably remain a pipe dream.
I would like to know what folks think about exterior mods to convertibles. Which ones they like and don't like as well as the reason(s) why. Hope to see a good exchange on this one before my wife's car arrives.
Thanks everyone!

What I would do:
Shaker Hood with "Super Snake" Stripe in Matte Black on Hood only;
Matte black tail panel;
Matte black rear spoiler (if you're getting one);
Sequential Taillights;
255 50-17 Tires, or 18" Rims (Bullits or Torque Thrusts);
Eibach Pro Springs;
Window Tint.

The Le Mans stripes would look great on the vert, but he said he was planning on a Shaker hood...Shaker + Le Mans stripes don't mix...
With the right color combo, I would pass on the shaker and go Le Mans stripes too.
