Combining center mounted fog lights with billet looking grille overlay

I don't know if this would even work but maybe one of you would know.

What if you got the KSR, Street Scene (or another aftermarket) center mounted fog light grille and then put a billet grille overlay on it? Like one from used on the GT-H.

FYI, the one on the GT-H overlays the factory GT grille.

If it was compatible, you would still have the functionality of the Fog lights (behind the overlay), and the tribar pony could be mounted in the traditional location (offset on the driver's side), without blocking the driver side fog light.

Some photoshops of doug904's car (first one I found with center fogs) attempting to illustrate what I'm talking about. Not sure how visible the fogs would be in real life, but these 3 photos give a range of possibilities.

ya i intended to try to do this once i got my stang unfortunately stuff has come up and i wont be able to get it now for like another 6months or so. But I do intend to do this even if I have to mount the fogs behind without a grill behind would cost more but it will work im sure of it and i think it would look absolutely perfect

Foglights are best mounted low, below the bumper, so they don't glare back at you from the fog. HID Driving lights are good above the bumper.

I think the fogs stick out too much to fit the overlay grille one there.
They certainly do on the SSE grille, not sure about the others.
