Cloning Begins !!!

Finally. Sorry guys, been a bit slacking with posting my progress. The last couple weeks have been good. I finally got my parts and have them installed, only now await paint as my car sits at the shop. I expect it back from the shop early next week.

I installed everything myself in my driveway, and it really was very straight-forward and simple. Anyway, here are some pics. I will post again once I get back from the paintshop.

Thanks.... I'm trying to track down the dimensions of the OEM GT500 stripes with no luck. Does anyone have these handy? I'm thinking 10" wide with a 1.5" gap, but I do not know for sure.

Looking good, but why not have the parts painted first, then put on the car? They would have to take the back bumper off anyway to paint it properly. I did hood and bumpers at different times (same painter tho) and had them painted before we mounted them.

Either way, the car is looking good. I really like that front end in black.

Its only a few small bolts... hood comes off in under a minute. Rear bumper comes off in about 3 minutes. The painter will remove them before painting.

Looks fantastic Larmo! But you guys and your GT500 fascia/hood conversions make me sick because I know my car would look awesome with the same treatment, especially because mine is mineral gray and the GT500 isn't offered in that color

Mineral Gray would look great - DO IT
I love seeing the conversions in the non-GT500 colors.

I guess my reasoning was that the car wouldn't be out of action very long, just a couple hours while you installed the painted parts. But then, if this isn't your only vehicle, that's not as much a problem as it was for me.
