Where did you purchase all the parts from? I have been thinking about making the changes to my 08 vista vert.

Purchased all parts from PMP. They have a major connection with a local FRPP dealer.

Scott, thanks for the comments. Longtubes are definitely on my list. I just have to decide whether to keep the Prochamber or go with a hiflo x-pipe. I'll cross that bridge when I get there. For now, this is going to be the longest few days ever before I get my car back.

Question. I've seen some verts that paint their top visor strip and some that didn't. What do you guys think? Should I have the paint shop put a small stripe on the visor area? Some verts do, some don't.... I'm leaning towards NOT but want your opinion. Here's a picture of what I am talking about.

I would paint the top of the windshield, actually we are thinking about the same thing with the stripes. Can you help me out with all the parts needed for the conversion. I recall seeing a list somewhere but cannot seem to locate it when I want it.

I'm still on the fence. I've seen some that look good with that strip painted and other that didn't look good. I need encouragement.

Looks great Dan! I'm jealous If all goes well, I'll have my parts put on this weekend If you don't mind my asking, did you get the FRPP hood for a better price at PMP?

On edit: check out this link. It should give you a good idea on stripe size and spacing

Thanks... yes I got all the conversion parts from PMP. Apparently they have a fairly tight relationship with the local FRPP dealer.

I highly recommend calling PMP, especially if you're local near NC.

Hey Dan,
When you did the rear bumper replacement, how did you get the rivets out of the plastic brace? I tried drilling them, but they end up getting hot and start spinning then melt the plastic? I've already made a couple oversized holes
Thanks

Its tricky. I drilled the rivots out and then just used a few simple nuts/bolts from the hardware store to secure the bracket to the bumper. Its really barely needed at all but I figured the nuts/bolts would help.

I think it may look better without the strip at the top. JMO
